G&G Outfitters was established in 1990 as a manufacturer of screen-printed apparel.
G&G established a reputation for producing quality products, consistently on-time,
with exceptional customer service.
In 1993, G&G continued to grow by adding the production of embroidered items
to their service offerings. During this period primary clients were sales and marketing
companies who subcontracted screen-printed and embroidered work to G&G and then
sold them directly to corporate America . In late 1993, the management of G&G
Outfitters made a decision to develop an in-house sales group, which would be responsible
for building direct relationships with Fortune 1000 companies. In doing so, we eliminated
a level of sales, marketing and distribution, which allowed our clients to more
cost-effectively purchase promotional products for their use in marketing efforts.
As this direct sales channel matured, our clients looked to G&G for all types
of promotional items - sports bags, headwear, leather products, corporate gifts
as well as awards and incentives. Through the formation of G&G International,
we developed a direct channel to source these products from all over the world and,
once again, eliminated unnecessary layers which only added expense and increased
cost to our clients.
In 2001, SureShip was created as a result of our recognition of the need to provide
fulfillment, warehousing and assembly projects for our key customer base. In 2003,
G&G added web store development and hosting to its SureShip division. Today,
SureShip utilizes the latest technology in warehouse management software for more
accurate and effective inventory control. Our clients look to SureShip for their
e-company stores, inventory management, bulk shipping services and, as importantly,
report/audit/premium reconciliation capabilities.
