 EXECUTIVES
G & G Outfitters began as a fundraising idea by Principals Doug Gardner and
Rich Gergar , while sophomores at the University of Maryland . With the help of
a hired artist and printer, Doug and Rich quickly sold out of their t-shirts by
selling them door-to-door on the university campus. Based on their initial success
the pair expanded - selling basketball and football shirts to sporting goods stores
in the area. By their senior year G&G's client list included fraternities, sororities,
intramural sports teams and local restaurants. When college ended, Doug and Rich
decided to go into business together. With limited resources but enormous drive
and ambition, G&G Outfitters was born.
